My father, Mr. Appiah is a man I will never forget. At age 5, I had already left the village to live with him in Kumasi. I have many dad stories of my father, most of which I keep treasured in my heart.

Life was never easy there. He rented a room for about three of my Aunties to take care of us but none of them ever had time for us.  

I would say he is one of the most unluckiest people on earth. A man who was denied by his father when it came to furthering his studies. Even though he was adjudged the overall 3rd best student in the entire district he schooled in. 

He made sure I was never sent home from school for owing school fees, though he didn’t have much. The moment school resumed,  my tuition fees were ready from the little shop he had then. We lived in a typical slum, but he, coupled with my stepmother raised us(myself and my other step siblings) and even other people very well.
