We asked a question and our readers responded. What do you say to a mother in heaven? But our awesome readers have something to say…
Our question to our readers was, ” For those whose Mama’s have passed on, what would you say to her if you had one more chance?”
The answers were varied and succinct. And we share them with you in today’s article; To My Mother In Heaven, a brief message:
Love you mummy, for the advice, sacrifice, struggles and more importantly prayers that you said and all you did to see us happy in this life. I could not have asked for a better mum.
Chrislyte
I will tell her this: I love you Maa, you are the best I ever had. You were my first love, my teacher, my advice, my fight mate and my best friend . It’s been about 14 years already but I miss you every day Maa.

I’m sorry for everything u went through. I wish you had walked out of that stupid marriage. You were a good woman , you sacrificed yourself for us. Your children’s happiness was your priority My GIFTY ,I love you and miss you. If given a chance I will still choose you over and over again I love you. Rest well MaMa.
Maame Efua
I will ask her why she had to die so early knowing that we don’t have father, for us to suffer like that.
Maame Abena
Mama you are the best Mom ever . Thank you for your undiluted love, your sacrifices and everything you did for your children and other people’s children . No Mother like you, but it’s quite unfortunate that death took you away from us so quick. I pray for you’re in the bossom of God Almighty . Love you till we meet again.

I wish you were here with me.
Marie
I’ll tell her a thousand times that I love her.I miss her so dearly.

How did you get so lonely that you made the choice that having no life was better than the life we had? Why wasn’t me and my siblings enough?
Trent
Mine isn’t dead but might as well be, I’m not wishing her dead though. The way they call irresponsible fathers, she is a deadbeat mum and insensitive. The only time she is good is when she wants to be acknowledged but we’ve learned to tune our minds like she does not exist.
Zella
Mum, I miss u so much. Thank you for everything.
Bridget
RIP Moma
Daryl

Pearl
Hmmm… I don’t think I can say just one thing…

Dearest Nana Aisha, I miss you everyday and everything you said about life, about people betraying me came true, May Allah grant you Jannah

Mom, you were right; your prophesies, premonitions and predictions were all right. My husband has done every horrible thing you said he will do and more. I should have listened to you, I regret ignoring your warning. I miss you Mom, your guidance is sorely missed. Rest well Momma, happy heavenly Mother’s Day!

I am still hurt, and I still struggle with a kaleidoscope of emotions; anger, regret, revenge, fear… And I am still mad at you but I regret you’re gone. I don’t know how to keep going, I miss you and I don’t. I hope you found peace mother, now that you’re in heaven.

The friends you loved, cherished and gave so much of yourself did not even sit through the entirety of your funeral. Because we failed to serve them their Guinness at the right temperature, apparently it wasn’t chilled enough. Mother, in heaven I hope you’ve made better friends.

Ma, I finally got my act together. I have a beautiful, peaceful family now. I wish you were here to see me. Thank you for all the prayer that brought me to this moment of growth. I miss you. Have a great heavenly Mother’s Day.

Daddy never got over your death. Sixteen years on, his heart is still broken.
Lexis
Your first granddaughter is your exact replica. Thank you for coming back to me.
